Sell My Music Online
BySell My Music Online
You know, I see a lot of articles and blogs about this subject. 90% of these well meaning writers are dead wrong! They tell you to signup with a bunch of different digital websites like iTunes and CD Baby and many more. There is nothing wrong with those companies. However that shouldn’t be your focus. The most profitable and strongest place you can sell your music is from your own website. There are several reasons you should focus on your site instead of others. Here are just a few you will learn as a member of BIZ4DaSoul.
Control: do you know that many artists have replaced the major record labels ability to control your music with the web designer’s ability to control your web presence? Why would you fight so hard for your music yet enslave your web presence to web designers? The ability for you to control your own web domain and build your website is easier than it has ever been!
Analytic’s: I can show you how a billion dollar company can help you monitor your site for free and they give you web tips on better search engine optimization. The more you can monitor your web traffic the more you can pinpoint your marketing efforts to get traffic to see if they are working.
Email Marketing (building your list): Here is a shocking truth. 90% of artists are marketing themselves incorrectly. These same groups’ emails are going into the SPAM folders across the world without their knowledge. Emails mean money. How else can people get to your site immediately and buy from you? Well they won’t be clicking through your email if they never receive your email. Most artists don’t know that there are some serious things you don’t want to do after reading this article.
1. Don’t send your customers (or potential customer’s) emails from your personal email. If you are trying to make REAL money online with your music you need to be professional and use a real email service. Email services average at $20 a month but doing this correctly will bring you in much more than that. We (BIZ4DaSoul) show you how to automate your emails thus saving you time.
2. Also stop sending out emails with everyone in the BCC fields. Like I explained before you need a professional service. Little do you know but most of your emails are hitting the SPAM folders and even worse you have no way of tracking how many people actually clicked through to your website to purchase anything.
Exclusive Product offers: have you noticed that as soon as you sell something on iTunes, CD Baby or Amazon that they immediately offer YOUR customer offers from other artists? Why aren’t you using the same strategy for yourself? When you become a member of BIZ4DaSoul you will learn how to increase your customer sales by 400%! There is no reason you can capitalize on offering additional items to a customer so that your customers spend more on your site instead of theirs.
I hope some of these reasons have opened your vision. Now all you need to do is take action!

Can’t argue with any of the above, Darren.
Especially capitalising on a band’s own website instead of sending them off elsewhere, to make a purchase, only to be coaxed and cajoled, distracted and persuaded to ‘click this way’ for more products, and potentially forget what they were there for in the first place.
Silly not to have a simple purchase option right there on their own site, with a range of additional products to go along with that new track.
